Green Initiative Program
Through our Green Initiative Program, CMI Solar is committed to helping organizations and communities embrace renewable energy solutions. This program focuses on providing solar energy systems that power operations efficiently while reducing environmental impact. By enabling more sustainable practices, we’re driving positive change for the planet and future generations.
The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada
Through our Green Initiative Program, CMI Solar proudly partnered with the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada to help them harness solar energy. This initiative supports their operations while protecting the environment and the animals they care for—demonstrating the power of renewable energy to make a meaningful difference.
At CMI Solar, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solar solutions that empower communities, protect the planet, and drive sustainability forward. By combining expertise with a passion for green energy, we strive to create a brighter future—one solar panel at a time.

Invasive Removal with The Toronto & Region Conservation Authority
Our team dedicated the day to removing invasive buckthorn trees, which can cause more harm than good to the surrounding ecosystem. Eliminating these species creates valuable space for the growth and restoration of native plants, helping to preserve biodiversity and strengthen environmental resilience.
Stay informed about upcoming invasive species removals, stewardship activities, and native planting events by visiting the TRCA events calendar, or consider joining the TRCA Youth Council to take an active role in protecting our natural spaces. Together, we can make meaningful changes for the benefit of future generations.
Earth Day Tree Planting
The CMI Solar team proudly participated in an Earth Day tree-planting event hosted by the City of Toronto, contributing to our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship. Alongside more than 60 volunteers from across the GTA, we helped plant over 550 trees representing 12 different species—an important step toward enhancing local biodiversity and supporting a healthier urban ecosystem. This initiative is just one of many green projects we will be part of this year as we continue working toward a more sustainable future.
